We are open now as from 01/06/2020!
Update: Re-opening 01/06/2020
Firstly, we hope you are all safe and well.
In light of the recent news and guidance from the Government we want to update you all. In particular, the Prime Minister’s reference was to the possibility that a partial re-opening of education and childcare services will commence from 01st June 2020. However, all the information and future plans are conditional and based on the increase/ decrease of rates in Coronavirus infections and deaths.
We are beginning preparations for when the nursery does re-open. We need to determine the percentage of children returning, in order to provide the correct facilities including meals and staffing. I understand that this a very difficult decision to make now but we do need the support from you in our future plans.
Whilst we recognise that the current situation continues to provide challenges for you and your children, rest assured that education and childcare settings and the local authority are working together on planning for re-opening at the appropriate time and with appropriate measures.
The early years sector has been provided with detailed information on returning to work to ensure that we are controlling the risk of Covid 19. This involves a detailed risk assessment including social distancing measures, hygiene practices and numbers of children in the classroom. Therefore, it is vital that parents inform us of their intentions when we reopen as soon as possible.
If you can, please email to confirm that you will require childcare and that your child/ren will return to the nursery once we are open.
What happens if you do not return on 01st June 2020?
As from 01st June 2020, we plan to open the nursery on the advice from the Government. Therefore, the terms and conditions to which you agreed when registering are reinstated. Therefore, fees for the month of June 2020 will be required for all.
If you do not wish to return please contact the nursery by email immediately.
If you choose to delay your nursery place for whatever reason, you will be required to pay a minimum of 20% of fees to secure your child’s nursery place.
If you choose to leave the nursery and you are unable to give a month’s notice, as per the terms and conditions you will lose your security deposit.
How are fees calculated from June 2020?
Fees paid for the month of April will be used towards June 2020 fees, regardless of attendance.
If you have not made any payment for the months of April or May 2020, then you will be expected to pay your normal monthly fee by 01st June 2020.
We have and will continue to work within our means to support our children and families during this awful pandemic. We have sent regular activities and messages via Blossom, these will be received by email.

We hope to see you all soon.
